I'm Back!

I haven't posted since December 19?? What's the point in having a blog if I'm not going to post?? Well, here I am!

So, I started my new job last month and I'm LOVING it! Ever since high school, I thought it would be fun to work at a bank, now I have a job at one, woo hoo! When I was a kid, I always had some cool occupation in mind and here I am going to school for accounting. I would have never thought this is where I'd be, I couldn't even pronounce accounting when I was a kid haha. I am taking a few classes this semester and so far, I'm doing surprisingly well. I'm gonna brag on Angela for a minute (don't let it go to your head :)) haha just kidding, she deserves the credit. She has been at UAMS for almost a year now and I love to hear her stories about classes and how well she is doing. She has been the key motivator for me to finish school (I haven't told her this yet, so if you're reading, Ang....SURPRISE!) She is always busy doing homework or studying for a test and it always pays off. So here I am on my day off and I just did about an hour worth of homework and gonna read about three chapters for another class later today. It has worked for her and so far it is working for me. I love being in school when I am doing well, so, thank you, Angela!
On top of work and school, I am juggling my relationship with God, my husband, and the rest of my family and friends, keeping my apartment clean/liveable, attempting to buy a home, keeping my dog alive, ya know, the everyday stuff. My life really isn't that complex, but somehow, it's hard for me to give the time of day to God that he deserves. I've really been focusing on this for a few weeks now and I find myself talking to God more and reading his word more, which is awesome! I am so much more happy with myself and my life when I am more focused on Jesus! (Duh, right?) Well, don't make fun of me, we all have our struggles haha.

Anyways, this is just a short update on me. Comments are welcome and encouraged! :)

Thanks for reading,
Meg
